As part of the TEP intern program in NYP, I was assigned to Daikin Outbound Survey Telemarketing for 6 weeks where I make calls to clients and persuade them to do a follow-up survey to help Daikin improve its services. I was able to enhance my communication skills, persuading skills and most importantly, my objection handling skills.

 

I was also able to work with the great teammates. Lastly, I had managed to obtained countless completed surveys which was a success for me!

At BACI, I was attached to APEX social media team, where I was tasked to plan out a social media campaign according to APEX's target audience.

I learnt from this APEX project that real world projects aren't as simple as I thought, for this particular project we had 3 different audience, which menat that we had to carefully plan out the strategy to be able to target all 3 audiences effectively without having to post everyday which makes it sustainable for APEX.

Lastly, I learnt time management, I had to constatntly churn out creative post which takes up a lot of time.

I was part of a team that had to plan, research and teach a video editing workshop. We had to choose a video editing app that was both packed with functions and at the same time be accessible on mobile phone.

I learnt from this workshop about effective communication, body language and tone. there was countless times where participants were very shy and lost but did not have the courage to speak up. As the facilitator, I actively engage the audience to ensure that theya re able to keep up and learn how to use the app, realtime.

Lastly, I learnt that the most important thing about a workshop is to have fun, as this will constantly engage and capture the audience attention.
